This more latinized form of the verb nomer is absent from other French dictionaries (although the DMF includes the prefixed verbs dénominer and pronominer and the substantive nomination, and only appears in English attestations in the sixteenth century.
Although there is every reason for a verb like nominer to have existed in Anglo-Norman, it should be noted that the minim sequence of ‘-min-’ can easily be a misreading of ‘-mm-’, producing a legitur that would move all of the attestations under nomer.
