obscur,  obscure;  oschur;  oscure;  ouscur,  escur  57vb obchure  123 ocur  5.63 occur  2

The citation from Rom Chev ants 6316 (see sense 6) is problematic. The text’s editor translates the adjective oscur as ‘damaged’, providing a context-specific translation for its use in the description of a wall that cannot be ‘eaten away’ by water or made ‘oscur’ by fire. That same sense, ‘damaged’, was included in AND1. However, it is a meaning that is not found in the relevant entries in any of the Latin, English or French dictionaries. At best, the DMLBS entry for the verb obscurare (1975c) has as its sixth sense ‘to efface, blot out’, where the word is used together with verbs like oblitterare and delere – and it may be that the adjective in Rom Chev ants has to be interpreted, exceptionally it seems, in such a manner. A second possibility is that the sense is closer to ‘dull, lacking brightness or brilliance’ (cf. DMLBS ‘2. (of [...] colour) dark, not bright’). In that case, the passage would translate as ‘a wall that cannot be blackened by fire’. This sense would be more in tune with the overall meaning of the word.

For the substantival locution en oscur, cf. Latin in obscuro, in obscuris (DMLBS obscurus, 1976b sense 6).
