[tressaillement] (s.xiii3/4)

[gdw]

[FEW: 11,96b salire; Gdf: ; GdfC: 10,807b tressaillement; TL: ; DEAF:  salir (tressaillement); DMF: ; TLF: ; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: ]
tresailement

As the editor of Dictionnaire hébreu points out (p. 259), the semantic overlap between tresaler (‘to pass, cross over’) and tressaillir (‘to leap over’) makes it difficult to associate this hapax unambiguously with either one verb or the other. Formally the noun is closer to the latter (with the loss of one ‘s’ not uncommon), and therefore this interpretation is favoured here.
