peri (1317)

FEW:  petrinus *8,325a  Gdf: GdfC: TL: DEAF:  piere (*)  DMF: TLF: OED: MED: DMLBS:

The term found here seems to require emendation but it is unclear to what the author is referring. It is possible that the word should be read as peri[n], suggesting it is a form of perrin or perrun and thus refers to a stone cell, room or a stone landing, platform. The emendation found in AND1 to p[orc]eri seems unlikely.
