nuiternel;  nuternal;  nutrenal;  nuturnal,  nuturnel;
pl. nuternaus,  nutrenaus,  nuturnaus,  nuiterhel  168.XC.5

The word nuiturnel and its synonyms nocturne, nocturnel, and nuital all represent different stages of the development of Latin nocturnus and nocturnalis into French. The exceptional substantival use does not seem to have existed in Latin or in Continental French.
