The word is otherwise unattested and the sense is based on comparison with other glosses of the same text. The Latin interpola is also glossed with redubber (‘patched, mended’) and refeleper (‘patched, mended’). In addition, the OED includes a comparable gloss on interpola ‘a turnyd cloth’ sub turn v.11c.
