This word is a ghost-word, included in AND¹ with the definition, ‘uncommon, unusual’ (thus relating it to the rele¹ word-family). This interpretation is based upoin Hilka’s earlier edition of the text (Pr Jean) which reads the word pereus (‘rocky, stony’, cf. perrus) as rereus. Gosman’s newer edition provides the correct reading.
