The context does not make clear what this otherwise unattested term means, other than that it refers to a state or process associated with the sale of wine or beer, for which officials exact a charge. The definition ‘(re)heating, warming up’ is given based upon the apparent etymology of the word. It may be that the term refers to the process of ‘reboiling’, i.e. allowing wine to ferment a second time and therefore get spoiled, cf. rebuillir.
