[ FEW: ; Gdf: ; GdfC: ; TL: ; DEAF: ; DMF: ; TLF: ; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: ]

DMLBS vomitus (3717b) includes a citation from Gilbertus Anglicus' Compendium medicinae(c.1240; V 212) where the phrase 'vomitum [...] Scarpelli' is used together with 'vomitum Nicolai', 'vomitus Andree' and 'vomitus [...] Bartholomei' (as other emetic medicinal prepararions), suggesting that the term scarpelle is probably an eponym as well.
