The marginal gloss reads: focus: sael: sael. In this manuscript the Latin headword is normally glossed with a gloss in ME and in AN. It is unclear in this case whether the glossator has made an error and provided two identical ME glosses, or an OE and ME gloss or a ME and AN gloss.
