[nunchalie] (s.xiii2)

[ gdw]

[ FEW: *2/i,83b calere; Gdf: ; GdfC: ; TL: ; DEAF: ; DMF: ; TLF: ; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: ]
nounchalie

Although this form may have to be read as nunchal[er]ie (with perhaps a missed ‘er’-abbreviation), the existence of articles such as nunchalerus vs. nunchalus and nunchalusement demonstrates that there may have been some liberty as to the precise root of these words. Consequently, I have considered this shorter variant genuine, albeit not attested in any of the other dictionaries.
