noiser1 (c.1136-65)

[ gdw]

[ FEW: 7,56a nausea; Gdf: 5,517b noisier 1; GdfC: ; TL: 6,733 noisier 1; DEAF:  noise (noisier 1, noisir); DMF:  noiser; TLF: ; OED:  noise v.; MED:  noisen v.; DMLBS: ]
noisier,  noisser,  noyser

This word seem to have a formal and semantic overlap with nuisir, and it is sometimes unclear whether a given citation belongs to one or the other. However, their separate etymological backgrounds (see commentaries of noise1 and nuisir), confirmed by the FEW, as well as Gdf, TL and the OED, justifies the existence of two separate entries.
