noier1 (s.xii)

[ gdw]

[ FEW: 7,224b *nucarius; Gdf: ; GdfC: 10,205c noiier; TL: 6,706 noier; DEAF: ; DMF:  noyer 1; TLF:  noyer 2; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: 1944a nucarius ]
noer,  nouyer,  noyer;  nuer,  nuere,  nuir;  nogé,  nuger,  noire

The hypothetical Latin etymon, *nucarius, is thought to have produced forms with or without ‘g’ (FEW 7,224b), and therefore AND1’s two articles nuer1 and nuger have now been conflated into one entry.
