soilhe

The word suel derives from Classical Latin solium in the sense of 'throne'. The FEW includes this as the primary sense in the entry (solium 12,61b) though notes it is attested only once, in Judeo-French. TL tentatively includes the sense of 'throne' in the entry for sueil (9,1059), suggesting the word derives from Latin solea, although no other attestations of this sense are found in Latin or French.
