respondaire (1212)

[gdw]

[ FEW: *10,310a respondere; Gdf: ; GdfC: ; TL: ; DEAF:  respondre (respondaire); DMF: ; TLF: ; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: ]

Without any obvious etymology (the Latin etymon, respondere, does not seem to have produced an -arius/-erius form), the word may be considered an unusual spelling variant of respondur, prompted by the rhyme with maufaire in the previous line.
