oratoir,  orator,  oratoure

Most Anglo-Norman attestations are found in documents where the person who has the function of a beadsman is also the petitioner, and as a result the distinction between the two possible senses is blurred. However, the identical phrasing and context suggest that the citations under sense 2 may also be interpreted simply as ‘petitioner, suppliant’.
