[nuschet] (s.xiii1)

[ gdw]

[ FEW: *16,603b *nuska; Gdf: ; GdfC: ; TL: ; DEAF: ; DMF: ; TLF: ; OED: ; MED: ; DMLBS: ]
nuchet

The word is not found in any of the other dictionaries, but is clearly a diminutive of nusche. Gdf has the entries nochet 2 (5,506b) and nochette (5,506c), included in the DMF as noquet, which do not appear to be related: these are translated as ‘padlock’ and etymologically explained as derived from nock (FEW 16,601a).
